Although I love travelling, it is always wonderful to come back home. Our homecoming this time was wonderful - a mob of wallabies ran in all directions as we entered the drive. They'd obviously enjoyed having the place to themselves while we were away and seemed a bit annoyed we were back on their territory! Then, suddenly, there was a flash of blue as a tiny wren landed fleetingly nearby, all a-flutter with a nervous tail and bright eye. Yes, home at last and what better home-coming could there be?! It's taken me some weeks to catch up on a million things before I could get back into the studio and paint that blue wren, but here he is: "Jack Flash".
