Hanging

I've just got back from watching a hanging and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience! Thanks to Amanda, Karen and the team of volunteers on the hanging committee at Wondai Art Gallery for making the hanging of the pictures for my first solo exhibition such a positive experience. I can't wait for the official opening on Friday night when thirty of my watercolours will be on display in Gallery Three. I've chosen a selection of paintings of native and non-native animals including cats and dogs; birds; florals; portraits; and figures. The paintings are reasonably priced and I hope a lot of them find good homes to go to. There are also some miniatures and both hand-painted and printed greetings cards if you want something small to take home. Here are a couple of miniature paintings waiting to be hung - "Puppy Dog Eyes 1" and "Puppy Dog Eyes 2".

Wondai is a lovely, intimate little gallery located in a pleasant country town in the South Burnett and is well worth a visit.
