If you live in country Australia, as we do, you get used to driving long distances. Today was no exception when we made a six hour round trip to Brisbane to deliver eleven of my watercolours to the Royal Queensland Art Society's gallery at 3/162 Petrie Terrace. They'll be on display till May 27th, so do pop along and visit them if you're in town. It's a lovely two storey gallery on the corner of Shannon Street and you'll find my pictures upstairs. There is a menagerie of animals - four cats (two are rather fierce and two cute and cuddlesome), two hares, three blue wrens, an owl and a red squirrel. I hope they all get on with each other! In fact I'm starting to regret putting the blue wrens next to that cat! There's also a church, a cricketer and some poppies! It was a busy day, as after the drive into town we had to hang and label the pictures, but now we're home safe and sound and hoping that some of these paintings are 'adopted' and find good homes!
